Let me ask you, what is the one thing you could really use at some point today? A nap you say?

Why not just take a seat in the plush leather couches by the TV and settle in to drift away….drooling on the collar of your business-casual blue shirt while we all walk by and snicker. Or go to the 4th floor of Kresge and take that study desk in the very, very back... only to wake up with neck cramps and then walk around with your head lopsided all day.

I suppose you can always sneak into a study room for a 10-minute quickie in Wiley. Kind of like what you gave your girl last night, but we know that's not really satisfying. So, instead you trudge all the way home through the blinding snow to pass out on the couch, and you end up sleeping all afternoon long.

Why is this necessary you ask? Because we don't have a Nap Room.

What is a Nap Room you say? Well it's a little slice of heaven, where you can sit down on an overstuffed sofa, fall into a lazy boy recliner, or put your feet up and close your eyes for fifteen precious minutes.

And so why don't we have a Nap Room?

Well, because our SGA is powerless to provide us with what we need the most, and they don't really care anyway. I personally spoke to the last board and that's what they said.

Now with the current regime recently installed, we can only hope they won't be indifferent to our pain. I have analyzed their campaign statements to see if there is any hope they really do care about our suffering:

President Eling Yang: "Someone once told me that the biggest gift that could be given to others was that of time and energy." I can't agree more. Nap+Time=Energy.

VP MBA Affairs Candace Kohl: "I personally hope for better food." But as we all know, after lunch we get sleepy. I'm afraid we need leadership that is looking further ahead. (Especially in MBA affairs -- since we all know that old folks get really, really sleepy.)
VP BBA Affairs: Xavier Fuller: "I, Xavier Fuller, am running for VP of BBA Affairs, because... I will dedicate myself to... leaving a legacy." Hear the call of destiny Xavier, my BBA brother: Build it and we will nap.
