I was watching a re-run of Friends the other day, and it was one of those crappy episodes where the gang just sits around and remembers past episodes. I deplore television shows like that because there is no real creativity demonstrated; it takes about two seconds to put something like that together. Then, in a moment of efficiency (ah, Little's Law, how you've changed my life forever), I realized, hey, I can do that, too!

For the MBA1s, I feel bad that you have been unable share in the memories of the legendary Section 4 MSJ articles from last year. MBA2s who weren't in the know, you missed some good times too. Since I've had many requests to send off last year's articles, and since those articles were the precursor to this year's column, I thought I might take a cue from my friends at Friends, and share some of last year's highlights with you.

Enjoy the re-run, everyone!

News: What We Did On Our Fall Break (November 4, 2002)

Over Fall Break, my fiancée and I went to Las Vegas. After winning $450,000 in a high-stakes game of Old Maid, we threw caution to the wind and got married in the finest drive through chapel in town. However, fate soon withdrew its lucky graces. The $450,000 was gone almost as soon as it came (damn you, overpriced hotel room Toblerones!), and with the loss came the realization that no wedding is complete without your section-mates behind you (to scrounge free cake and perhaps a few business cards from some of your parents' friends). So we donned white jumpsuits and blue suede shoes and took a divorce, Elvis style. The wedding is still on for April 5, so work on your networking skills and save room for dessert, Section 4!

A group of friends and I went to Daytona Beach and had the best time! We met some guys from Kellogg, hung out, and even ended up on MTV's The Grind! My friend, Katie, got to be on a special Fall Break edition of Blind Date - it was really cool, and meeting Roger Lodge was totally awesome! In the evenings, we'd go to the clubs and afterwards, we'd just sit on the beach and talk about life. When you go on a Fall Break trip like this, things like not understanding the Citibank case really take perspective. I had a great time on break, but I'm psyched to be back at school - Fall B is going to be awesome, I can just tell! Thanks for the memories, guys!
