On Wednesday, November 30, the eight teams participating in the Integrated Product Development (IPD) course, which requires students from the RSB, the College of Engineering, and the School of Art & Design to draw, manufacture, and market a new product, presented their offerings at the end-of-term trade show.
Last Monday, the Ross School of Business held the second annual Economics Symposium. The conference, entitled "A Dollar Today vs. A Dollar Tomorrow" focused on pr oviding an economic outlook for both the U.S. and the state of Michigan. The event was highlighted by three keynote speakers.
On Wednesday, November 30, Georgia State University Professor Dennis Young visited the RSB to discuss developments in the non-profit sector. While Young's current research focuses on the changing nature of non-profit financing, he also discussed trends in the sector that included incorporating more private-sector management practices and how MBA students can take advantage of that in the recruiting process.
Unbeknownst to most students roaming the halls of the RSB, one of the pillars of the legal "blog" community has disappeared, shut down in its prime. The site, "Underneath Their Robes," (hereafter UTR) took the seemingly bland world of judicial rulings and personalities and injected it with irreverent, gossipy overtones.
